Jenn Gibson is a freelance writer and photographer who currently resides in Chicago, IL. She has been writing short fiction and plays for over a decade; this is her first non-fiction piece.

Happy is a project that is near to her heart as Gibson believes that the discrimination against the GLBTQ community has been allowed to continue for far too long. She often volunteers with GLAAD and participates in activities that promote awareness and education for this community. Gibson hopes that Happy will serve as a continuation of this effort. 

Gibson attended college at the State University of New York (SUNY) Oswego where she majored in Marketing and Public Relations with a minor in Creative Writing; she graduated in 2004 and moved to Chicago, IL shortly after. Gibson is an avid theater-goer and enjoys making the most of the many cultural offerings available to her.
